What exactly is a rep program you ask? Well, for us at Kate Schwindt Photography, our rep program, the KSP Dream Team, brings together students from 7th - 12th grade in our community. We offer these middle and high school students a super fun experience with individual and group photo sessions for which they commit to use us as their *sole photographer.
Simply put, in exchange for some unique photo sessions and awesome events, our reps agree to promote us to their friends and family and on social media.
*we realize that many students are involved in various activities that require them to have photos taken by other photographers for sports, dance, theatre etc. so we have given those students an exemption.
Why have a rep program? For us, yes, it’s a way to have a stronger, more genuine word of mouth referral system, absolutely. It’s also because we are very committed to giving back to our community through mentoring and providing a positive and, hopefully, inspirational environment for our youth. Poor self-image, low self-esteem and comparing themselves to others plague our kids. Our rep program isn’t going to fix all that, but we hope it will reinforce positivity, compassion and community amongst the students on our team and with their friends.
Our year-long program involves creatively themed photo sessions (both individually and as a team), 1:1 coffee shop mentor time and group socials. Our goal is to make our rep program, the KSP Dream Team, more of a mini community, reflecting what Kate Schwindt Photography values:
Supporting Local Youth & Families
Meet Our KSP Ambassadors
As with all successful ventures, you can’t do it alone. So, we brought in some incredible women from our community to serve as ambassadors for our KSP Dream Team. When we started building our rep program we searched for positive and strong women to be inspirational role models to our reps. We couldn’t have been more thrilled when these three decided to join us!
We’ll be coordinating events with our ambassadors, highlighting their unique life path and skills. For Michele, we’ll be taking a self-defense class at Colorado Krav Maga in Highlands Ranch where she teaches. With Cori, we are planning on doing a therapeutic outdoor yoga session. Cori is currently teaching yoga at Outlaw Yoga in Downtown Littleton and we’re so excited for this opportunity! Laura brings all of her creativity and passion for writing to our team. We’re planning a fun night this fall to color, write and draw our hearts out! These women are truly extraordinary and we are so honored to have them as KSP Ambassadors, supporting our reps.
Our youngest rep, Peyton, came on board shortly after her mom, Michele, became one of our ambassadors. Peyton is enthusiastic and very profession during her sessions with us. She always has a smile on her face, or a fierce expression that shows a strength and maturity beyond her years. We’re so happy Peyton is a rep for us!
Want To Join Our Rep Program?
To join the KSP Dream Team for 2020 you will first need to fill out a brief application online. Once it is reviewed, you’ll be sent a contract to read, initial & sign (both the parent and the student must sign this contract.) The contract outlines the requirements of our program, what to expect and what each rep will receive. We accept 7th & 8th graders as Junior Reps and 9th-12th graders as High School Reps.
Another rep for us is Shelby who we met through her mom, a good friend of ours. Shelby has a beauty and strength combined with a kindness that we love to see as she interacts with our other reps. Last fall, Shelby hosted a birthday celebration at our studio that included studio and outdoor photos of Shelby and her best friends! It was so much fun! We’re so happy to have her on the KSP Dream Team rep. Thank you., Shelby, for being a part of our team!

Gabby is so creative with each of her sessions and always has the best smile to share! Here is a glimpse at Gabby L’s personalized app, which all of our KSP Dream Team reps receive. We just love it, don’t you?!!
More About our Current Reps!
At the start of 2019, our KSP Dream Team reps ranged in age from 13-17 years old and were from 4 different high schools and 2 middle schools. Our reps are involved in a ton of different activities and sports, including, but not limited to: Volleyball, Soccer, Theatre, Baking, Dance, TSA and so much more. These are some hardworking and remarkable young women!
We’ve know Reese for a couple of years now. We originally met through her high school theatre department where we donate our photography services, providing group promotional photos of the cast and crew. We then asked Reese to be a part of a personal photography project which planted the seed for us to start our KSP Dream Team. We love Reese’s leadership capabilities and her stunning versatility. We’re so glad she’s on the team!
These girls are strong, kind, supportive, creative and so hilarious to work with each time we get together! So far this year we’ve done in-studio photos at our rep orientation, held individual sessions in May at Hudson Garden’s and Highlands Ranch Mansion and done a very artsy session at Goorin Brother’s Hat Shop in Downtown Denver. We had makeup artist Kim J Beauty come in and do most of the girls’ makeup for the Goorin Brother’s photos, even using Gluten Free makeup from LimeLife!
We’ve known Sophie since she was around 9 years old. It’s been amazing to see her grow up and that she’s such a sweet and funny girl is the icing on the cake! Sophie is also a caring and compassionate friend and we just love what she brings to the team. Thank you for joining our KSP Dream Team, Sophie!
None of our KSP Dream Team sessions or events are required, but you will get out of this program what you put in it. So far, we’ve had such wonderful feedback from the reps as well as their parents, friends and family. We want this mini community to be something that is a positive and inclusive experience. We provide each rep with uniquely beautiful portraits, and, we hope, a chance to feel seen, heard and recognized for who they are and the young women they are becoming.
We can’t get through our time with Carly without laughing and grinning ear to ear. Her personality shines through like a beam of light and we love what Carly brings to our rep program. We met her, as with Reese, through her school’s theatre program. This girl is a force to be reckoned with, and will definitely get your smiling or laugh crying before you know it! Thank you for being YOU, Carly, and for being a KSP Dream Team rep!

Gabby D is another rep we met through her mom! Yay to the moms! Gabby brings an unassuming strength, a kindness that runs through and through and an exquisite beauty to our team. We love her bold red hair, and think it adds to her striking look. Welcome to the team, Gabby D, we’re so glad you said yes to joining us!
KSP Dream Team Photos to Premiere at Annual Kick-Off Party
Want to see all the photos we create with our KSP Dream Team? Well, we will premiere the photos of each team member at our annual Kick-Off party in January 2020. We’ll be putting on a gallery display of each of our KSP Dream Team reps and creating a video highlighting our amazing year with these incredible girls! Email us at email@example.com to be added to the invite list! Put Kick-Off Party in the subject line. We’d love to see you there!
Last, but certainly not least is Emma! We have also known Emma for several years…and recently had the joy of photographing her high school senior portraits! Senior photos are not included as part of our KSP Dream Team program. So, we focused our energy on making her senior photos uniquely special, just like Emma! And, it was a family affair, as her sister, Sophie (also a rep!) joined us for the fun. Thank you for being a rep for us, Emma! You are amazing.
